How does the event work?
The Student World is part of the EDUEXPOS, the largest study abroad fair series in the world. To participate you just need to register on www.thestudentworld.com.Once you have registered for the event you will have the opportunity to start talking with institutions from all over the world! This gives you the unique opportunity to ask questions and to learn more about studying overseas.
Is the event free?
YES. Unlike other event companies we work hard to ensure our students events are completely free. All you have to do is register on the website, print and bring confirmation of your invitation with you on the day.
Can I bring someone with me? Do they have to register as well?
Yes, in fact we encourage it! If you are going to study abroad then bring family members and friends. The more involved they are the easier it will be for you! All we ask is that you register them on www.thestudentworld.com otherwise they’ll have to spend longer in the queue on the day of the fair.
Is there any promotional material, like folders, brochures and such that I might be able to give to my friends/ students?
Our promotional material is online. Complete information on the event including information on exhibitors can be found at www.thestudentworld.com. We try to be environmentally friendly!
I'm a Teacher and wish for all my students to attend the event. Do I have to register all my students or is it enough to have only my registration?
It is far better for students to register as individuals than to register one big group. If this is not possible, we can register students at the reception desk if they provide some form of valid ID e.g. Student Card, Passport, Driver's Licence.
Do I have to print the invitation to the event or can I take it on my cellphone or tablet?
You can print your ticket out, but you can also use your phone/tablet device. After your registration you will get a unique code which will be scanned at the reception of the event. You will then get a badge with a barcode which the universities can capture and save your contact info so they can send you further information after the event.
I registered for the event but my status appears as pending. Can I still attend the event?
One of the reasons your registration may be pending is because you have not confirmed you email address by clicking on the email the site sends to you. If this is the case then you can click on the Pending Red Button and you will be able to have our servers resend the email to you.
My parents will be attending the event. Do they have to register too?
Parents are encouraged to register online also, this gives them the unique opportunity to be updated on all the fantastic opportunities available for you to study abroad. If they do not wish to do so, they can simply arrive with you at the event.
I'm a parent and would like to take my children to the event. Should I register them?
Children below Year 9 (13 years) do not need to register for the event. Students from year 9 onwards begin to take part in careers education at school so we would encourage anyone above 13/14 to register and take part in the event.
I lost the email where I had my confirmation? Can I get another one?
Yes, just go to the event site and click on the Save or Print your invitation button. If you don't see it, just click to register again as an existing user with the same email you registered with before and with the password sent to you after your first registration. You will then see the above button with your confirmation credential.
I registered for the wrong city. Can I change it?
Yes, you can re-register once again and choose the correct city. Register an existing user . It will take just 10 seconds.
I called the hotel/convention centre and they told me that they don’t know anything about the event. Can you confirm?

I can't attend when the fair begins. Can I still attend later?
You can arrive between our opening times which are 10.30am - 4pm. We recommend not arriving too late to give you enough time to see all the institution and to watch seminars.
